Some tips to improve your creativity!

Creativity is all about finding new ways to solve any situation while thinking outside of the box. Some people find creativity a balance between nurture and nature, which can make us happier and healthier. Creativity is a beneficial skill for people from all walks of life. The creative process is a unique approach to find a solution with the ability to think abstractly. Some attributes of creativity are innovation, curiosity, flexible, and positive attitude. If you’ve ever wanted to boost your creativity, the following tips can help.

1. Dare to try out the new and unexpected places.

When you try out new and unexpected places, you get a chance to learn new things, get the motivation to take bold risks, and find an inspiration to do what you are meant to do.

2. Exercise without distraction

Doing any exercise helps increase creative ideas when you are doing it without any distractions, like watching TV or listening to music. It will help to be more productive and boost your creative thinking.

3. Do something outside your comfort zone.

Many people have a habit of following their schedule and plan their time accordingly. Some people often go to the same restaurant, hang out with the same friends and watch the same types of movies, but when you move out of your comfort zone and try something new, you’re naturally increasing your concentration to improve your creative thinking. Those new skills will change the way you see yourself, encouraging you to step even further out of your comfort zone.

Storyboarding, mind mapping, and group sketching are creative brainstorming exercises and techniques to help you get your problem- solving skills flowing.

5. Try a creative ritual

It would be best if you had habits and routines that feed your creativity, to keep up your energy and inspiration during the design process. Many people tend to set their own time to get things done, like in the morning and at night. There are many ways to “set the mood” when it comes to creative thinking. You can always step forward and try to follow your creative ritual. Here is some way to help you stick on your habits:

  • Meditation

  • Listen to your favorite music

  • Practice deep breathing while standing

  • Drink tea or hot lemon water when you wake up
